WHO WE ARE

Pine & Marsh was co-founded by Jacob Mishalanie and Thomas Garner in 2026. Jacob brings large-scale production experience and a lifetime of Southern outdoor culture to every creative engagement. Thomas brings nearly a decade of Southeastern digital marketing — technical SEO, local search, and AI-search visibility — to every strategy engagement. Together, they cover the full scope of what an outdoor business needs to be found and chosen by the right buyer.

Jacob Misahlanie

Co-Founder & Lead Creative

Jacob is an avid outdoorsman and the creative lead at Pine & Marsh. He’s a Southern deer hunter who also spends time on the water chasing fish across the region.

Professionally, Jacob’s strength is production at scale. He serves as production manager for a nationally touring Christian band — a role that has taken him across cities in the United States and abroad, handling logistics, stage production, crew coordination, and real-time problem-solving at a professional level. Alongside that work, he has built a body of creative and production experience through client engagements in Nashville and throughout North Alabama, spanning brand identity, photography, video production, and creative direction.

What Jacob brings to Pine & Marsh is the ability to show up, run the day, and deliver work at a high level of craft. That combination — outdoorsman and production professional — is not something generalist agencies can replicate.

Thomas Garner

Co-Founder & Head of Digital

Thomas is a digital marketer who has served businesses across the Southeastern United States since 2016. His career spans technical SEO, content strategy, email marketing, local SEO, paid media, and conversion rate optimization across dozens of clients in retail, real estate, professional services, home improvement, and outdoor recreation.

Thomas's depth is in digital marketing as a craft. He has personally seen, up close, every major stage of the last decade of search evolution — from pure keyword SEO through the quality era, to local algorithm maturity, and into the current AI-search transition. His specific areas of professional depth include technical SEO, local SEO, email and CRM systems, and conversion-rate optimization.

What Thomas brings to Pine & Marsh is digital infrastructure behind every engagement and the discipline to say no to services that don't produce the outcomes the client is actually paying for.
